Our steers we’ve been raising since May are ready to be be butchered. We’ve enjoyed having them on the farm, and are grateful for the meat they’ll provide for us this year.
The steer lived a happy life at The Mason Jar Farm. They spent their lives outside in the sunshine, eating pasture grasses, vegetables and apple pulp from our recent harvest of apples for cider pressing. The steer especially loved cabbage and cauliflower from the garden. They had access to fresh water and acres to roam. They lived a stress free life, which matters to us.
If you’re interested in purchasing some of the fresh, pasture-raised, grass fed beef visit our website and complete the form with the deposit to The Mason Jar Farm.

Linds Meats in Kent valley is who we’ve chosen. This is a family owned business for over 40 years and they provide excellent service.
Their information can be found at: lindsmeats.com
We currently have a whole steer and a half steer available for purchase. Only interested in a half of a half steer? This tends to be a bit trickier as the cuts from those halves will vary and it is best if you can work with another friend or family so that you both can decide how to divide the meat cuts.
Contact us if you have any questions.
Time is of the essence.
Thank you,
