What is CSA

Community Sponsored Agriculture, known as a CSA, has become a popular way for people to purchase fresh produce and eggs directly from their local farmer. People buy shares, or a subscription, for the season. They then have access to fresh produce throughout the growing season. Subscriptions can be for either weekly or bi-weekly pickups. The arrangement creates several rewards for both the farmer and the buyer.

A mid-size weekly box has a similar mix with about 1/3 less qty. suitable for 1 to 2 people or enough produce for a couple of meals each week.
